Zakat and Income Tax (DZIT)
The Department of Zakat and Income Tax (DZIT) awarded NATCOM a new high value project for 3 years “The provisioning of a new computer center infrastructure layout and integrated systems “.
The scope of this project is to improve DZIT IT infrastructure to be more manageable, available and automated. The project consists of following parts:
- Network Infrastructure that consists of redundant core-switching technologies, Router communication devices, Firewall systems and load distributor devices for better performance and more security.
- Server Infrastructure comprising of open standard, Blade technologies for applications and front-end servers, Operating systems, Virtualization technologies and High availability of services
- Storage Infrastructure comprising of centralized storage solution with SAN technology and provisioning for replication and disaster recovery
- Data protection automation for backup and data life cycle management
- Applications migration and consistency with current and future expansions and improvement of the availability to insure continuous operation
- Data Center construction and setup that comprising of mechanical systems, electrical systems, security & monitoring systems and management systems
- End user Desktops and peripherals delivery and assessment
- Manpower to run the data center.
